Private House in Worthing

We were commissioned by clients in Worthing to create an enlargement to their Victorian home. As business leaders they host many receptions which, although the house is a large late Victorian villa has many bedrooms, but the reception rooms were small by comparison.

We proposed to demolish the complete rear side wall of the house to enable a very large open plan room (circa 55m2) which has seating, dining and much larger kitchen. It also opens completely onto the recently landscaped rear garden. This enabled us to knock through the old dining room (some way from the old kitchen) with the existing lounge which created twice the area of the old; now 65 m2.
